Salary / Stipend

JRF Rs. 37,000 per month; SRF Rs. 42,000 per month plus HRA; Rs. 20,000 annual contingency paid to the institution.

Research Focus

Projects must fall within biomedical sciences, including life sciences, chemical sciences, physical sciences such as biophysics, social sciences such as psychology and sociology, or biostatistics. Research should relate to AYUSH systems and be carried out at a university or institution the candidate chooses.

Additional Funding

Fellows may submit a project proposal to receive a one-time research contingency grant of up to Rs. 1 lakh. The proposal must be filed within three months of joining the fellowship.
