Salary / Stipend

PB-1 Rs. 5,200-20,200; Grade Pay Rs. 2400/2800 (Level 4/5), Rs. 1900/2000 (Level 2/3), Rs. 1800 (Level 1).

Documents and Photo Rules

Uploads must be in PDF format and include a self-attested government photo ID, age proof, educational certificates and sports achievement certificates. The photo should be a recent colour passport-size image on a light background, showing a clear front view without a cap or sunglasses. Applications with missing or faulty enclosures can be rejected summarily.

Trial and Post Conditions

Candidates pay their own travel and stay costs and must bring their own sports kit and original certificates to the trial. SC/ST candidates get free second-class rail travel to attend. Selected candidates must sign a five-year service bond and may be posted anywhere on the railway.

How to Fill the Form

  1. Go to rrcser.co.in, open the Sports Quota 2026-27 online application link and register as a new user.
  2. Enter personal details exactly as on your matriculation certificate and note the registration number and password sent to you.
  3. Log in, complete the form in steps and add bank details for the fee refund.
  4. Enter photo ID details and upload your photo, signature, left thumb impression and self-attested certificates.
  5. Pay the fee online by card or net banking.
  6. Submit the form and note the Unique Registration Number.
  7. Take two printouts of the final form, since no changes are allowed after submission.
