Salary / Stipend

Level-2: Rs. 19,900 to 63,200 (Skilled); Level-1: Rs. 18,000 to 56,900 (Semi Skilled).

Reservation and Tie-Break Rules

Ten percent of posts are reserved for ex-servicemen and ten percent for Agniveers across both grades. Four percent is set aside for persons with benchmark disabilities in the semi-skilled post. When candidates tie on trade-wise marks, the older candidate ranks higher, followed by better scores in numerical aptitude, then in English.

Key Instructions

Applicants may submit only one form, and changes to post or station are not allowed after submission. Candidates with night or colour blindness are medically unfit. No travel or daily allowance is paid for the tests. Passport photos must be taken within the last month, and any overwriting or correction fluid on the form leads to rejection.

Mode of Selection

  1. Written test
  2. Departmental trade skill test
  3. Document verification and medical examination

How to Fill the Form

  1. Type the application form on A4 paper in the prescribed format, print it double-sided, and sign every page.
  2. Fill in personal, educational and trade details in block letters. Only one application is allowed, for one trade and one station.
  3. Affix a recent self-attested photo on the form and self-signed photos on two admit cards.
  4. Attach self-attested copies of identity, birth, qualification, ITI, experience and category certificates.
  5. Enclose a self-addressed envelope measuring 30 x 12 cm with a Rs. 60 postal stamp affixed.
  6. Mark the main envelope with the name of the post applied for.
  7. Send by ordinary post or Speed Post to the Controller, Controllerate of Quality Assurance (General Stores), DGQA Stores Complex, Meerpur Cantt, Kanpur 208004.
