As per Tribunal (Conditions of Service) Rules, 2021, as amended.

Eligibility Notes

Former Chairpersons and Members of any Tribunal may apply for re-appointment. Serving Supreme Court or High Court judges, and serving central or state government employees, must resign or take voluntary retirement from their parent service before joining.

Application Guidelines

No travel or daily allowance is paid for interviews. Incomplete or late applications are not considered, and the department is not responsible for postal delays or losses, so early dispatch is advisable. Appointees serve five years or until age 70, whichever comes first.

Mode of Selection

  1. Scrutiny of applications by Search-cum-Selection Committee
  2. Shortlisting for personal interaction
  3. Personal interaction
  4. Final overall evaluation by Committee

How to Fill the Form

  1. Complete the prescribed application format (Annexures I to III).
  2. Attach attested CR/APAR dossiers for the last five years and other listed enclosures.
  3. Send the original application through proper channel to the Under Secretary (DRT), 3rd Floor, Jeevan Deep Building, Sansad Marg, New Delhi-110001.
  4. Ensure it reaches the office by 5:00 PM on 09 Nov 2026.
