Salary / Stipend

Graduate Apprentice Rs. 12,300/month; Technician (Diploma) Apprentice Rs. 10,900/month; 12-month training period.

Key Restrictions

Candidates who have already completed one year or more of training or job experience after their qualifying course cannot be engaged. Holders of higher qualifications are also excluded, and distance or part-time study does not count. CGPA holders must convert grades to percentage using their university’s rules.

Other Conditions

This is a fixed 12-month apprenticeship, and ITR is not obliged to offer permanent employment afterward. All correspondence, including offer letters, is sent by email. No travel allowance, accommodation or transport is provided during selection or training. PwBD candidates are eligible only for designated trades.

Mode of Selection

  1. Written test and/or personal interview for shortlisted candidates
  2. Document verification before apprenticeship contract
  3. Medical fitness certificate at time of joining

How to Fill the Form

  1. Register on the NATS portal and keep the enrollment number ready.
  2. Obtain the Annexure-A application form from the notification on drdo.gov.in.
  3. Complete a typewritten form with your category, discipline, personal and academic details.
  4. Attach self-attested certificates, mark sheets, ID proof and a passport-size photograph.
  5. Seal the documents in an envelope marked with the apprenticeship category and discipline.
  6. Send by Speed Post or Registered Post to the Director, ITR Chandipur, so it arrives by the deadline.
