Salary / Stipend

Training stipend of Rs. 56,100 per month during the IMA phase; Level 10 pay of Rs. 56,100 to 1,77,500 after commissioning; Military Service Pay of Rs. 15,500 per month.

Training Streams and Degrees

After selection, cadets are placed in one of three Cadets Training Wings, with the Army deciding final allocation from candidate preferences. Engineering streams include civil and mechanical at Pune, a dual-degree telecommunication and IT programme at Mhow, and electronics and mechanical at Secunderabad. An engineering degree is awarded on completing the four-year course.

Marriage Rule and Arrival Fitness

Candidates who marry after applying will not be selected, and marrying during training can lead to discharge and recovery of training costs. Cadets reporting for training must meet listed fitness benchmarks, including a 2.4 km run, push-ups, pull-ups and basic swimming knowledge.
