Salary / Stipend

Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 2,80,000 per month (IDA-2017, grades E-0 to E-8); approx. CTC Rs. 10.01 to 40.28 lakh.

Certificates and Employment Status

Reserved-category applicants need caste certificates in the prescribed government format, and OBC (NCL) certificates should be under six months old at joining. Candidates already working in government or PSUs must apply through proper channels or provide a No Objection Certificate, though fixed-term posts do not require one. Fixed-term roles end automatically at the term’s close and carry no promise of regular employment.

Travel Allowance and Deployment

Outstation candidates shortlisted for interviews may claim travel costs after proof of journey is shown. CGM and GM candidates receive economy air fare, while AGM and lower posts get AC II tier. Selected candidates may be posted to any GSL location or department.

Mode of Selection

  1. Interview only for most posts
  2. Written test (85 marks) and interview (15 marks) for Junior Manager posts

How to Fill the Form

  1. Go to goashipyard.in and open the Careers page under Notice Board.
  2. Click Apply Online, choose the post, and complete the form.
  3. Pay the Rs. 500 fee online via SBI e-pay and keep the receipt.
  4. Submit the form, since it cannot be edited afterward.
  5. Print two copies; send one with documents to the General Manager (HR&A), Goa Shipyard Limited, Vasco-da-Gama, Goa 403802, by 2 December 2026.
